Description
Using literature spanning from Native Americans to contemporary authors, this course engages students with texts that have the potential to transform their thinking. The goal is for students to recognize the emphasis that historical and social climate has on the people and literature of a time period, and how texts from different periods address similar themes. Students will use the texts to direct their research and then to formulate their own literary arguments.
